Standard check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged on request, subject to availability. Please WhatsApp us at least 24 hours in advance. Luggage storage is available free of charge before check-in and after check-out.
Yes — Mitra Vagator, Mitra Palolem, Mitra Mcleodganj, and Mitra Sonamarg all have private rooms available. Mitra Arambol is currently dorm-only. Mitra Homes & Villa offers studio apartments, 1BHKs, and 2BHK villas for longer stays.
Yes — cancel 15 or more days before your arrival and you get a full refund. Cancellations 7–14 days prior receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. Refunds are processed within 10 working days to your original payment method. See our full Cancellation Policy for details.
We accept UPI, credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), net banking, and international cards. PayU handles all payments — your card details are never stored on our servers.
Absolutely — subject to availability. Just let the front desk know or WhatsApp us at least 24 hours before your original check-out date and we'll sort it out.
Meals are not included in the base room rate. Our hostels don't have a common kitchen, but most have an in-house cafe serving breakfast, snacks, and meals — check your specific property page for details. Mitra Homes and Villa units come with their own kitchen or kitchenette.
Mitra Hostel properties are for guests aged 18 to 35. Mitra Homes and Villa can accommodate families and guests of all ages with prior approval — please contact us before booking.
Visitors are welcome in common areas during the day. They are not permitted in dormitory rooms. Please let the front desk know if you are expecting visitors.
Extremely safe and highly recommended. Mitra is one of the best places in India to travel solo — our community is welcoming, staff are attentive, and lockers are available in all dormitories. Many solo travellers arrive nervous and leave having made lifelong friends.
Yes — high-speed WiFi is available at all Mitra properties, free of charge. If you're a remote worker or digital nomad, Mitra Homes is specifically designed for you — with work desks, fast internet, and a quiet environment.
Transport options vary by property. Each property page has location and transport details. Our travel desk can also arrange airport pickups — WhatsApp us in advance and we'll sort it out at the best local rate.
